Retail Showroom Electric Warm Air Heating

The Challenge

Jollyes are an ever-increasing Retail Pet Food Company and are opening new branches all over the UK as the company grows. A new store was being planned to be opened on a retail park at Grimshaw Park in Blackburn at an old closed Mothercare store which had been closed for some time. CK Services 1990 was contacted through one of the project managers for the new site and asked to attend site and put a quotation together for the new store which had no gas meter or had been on gas heating before as it was on Air-conditioning originally.

The Solution

To install a new system that was energy efficient and kind to the environment but was not going to be too expensive to install and maintain. CK Services 1990 and the project manager decided an Electric Warm Air Heating system would be the best system to install in the new store as well as de-stratification fans to blow the rising heat back down to customer levels.

The Result

Two Winterwarm EH30 Electric Warm Air Heaters were chosen in the design as well as destratification fans, the two control panels for the heaters were to be installed in an office in the rear of the building then two remote temperature controls fitted in the showroom. The equipment was ordered to our factory and our in-house engineers installed the heaters and the destratification fans, control panels and remote temperature sensors in the showroom. The system was commissioned and was ready for use for the grand opening day, which in true Jollyes fashion was opened by the mayor of Blackburn and included local pet charities in the area who the client offers lot of support for on all their stores across the UK.
