St Willibrord’s Primary School – Clayton
Evaporative Cooler Installation
The Challenge
Our company was asked to design and install a cost effective cooling solution for the assembly hall for St Willibrords primary school in Clayton Manchester. There was already an existing gas boiler and radiator system fitted so the perfect solution was to install a Breezair Evaporative cooler on the roof and run a duct down through the roof to a ducting distribution box with adjustable louvers to direct the cool air flow.
The Solution
Our company supplied and installed the cooler, ductwork, pipe work, controls and security cage as well as commissioning the cooler.
The security cage and duct work which needed to be colour coded was all manufactured in house at CK Services 1990.
The Result
The cooler a year on has proven to be a good and effective way of keeping the hall cool during the summer.
